I don't tend to use superheavy rods on wrasse, 5-20gr with a length of 240 is ideal for me. But it's important to set your drag really tight so you don't allow them to get into the rocks or kelp.
Leaving for Ireland next friday to fish for WB. Tailwalk Eginn 88M with a Shimano Exsence 3000 Mhg is my weapon of choice.
