[QUOTE = "yUkOn, post: 494954, member: 1128"] Moin together,
Thanks to the last landing page on the Irish Seabass, I'm back in the Wanderlust fishing mode. Unfortunately, the first evening research on the subject with Bulli, kayaks, girlfriend and dogs would probably be a full costly journey. And somehow that would then for max. 12 days round trip with kayaking not easy. Cheaper and cheaper, for example, if you are planning two smaller ferry stages and in the car drive through England and Ireland.
So Ireland is off the list, even if there is a last-minute ferry ticket. Nevertheless, it must be really nice in Cornwall or Wales, too, and they have nice sea bass there. New plan is to jet kayak this year to the English bass and get to know the southwest coast there.
Any questions:
Has anyone ever been to fish there? Cornwall is a popular holiday destination, maybe someone can share their experiences. What somebody in Wales maybe even? What about fishing licenses (sea fishing), wild camping, etc.?
Does anyone even have any interest in making a detour in the same direction at the end of June? Maybe you could meet somewhere on the spot and fish a bit together.

Sorry to reply in English, understanding German is easier than writing it
Cornwall is really beautiful and has amazing fishing spots, I've been there twice for the Cornish Lure Festival.
But in Ireland is better for Seabass fishing. The bass are also on average bigger in Ireland.
Neverteless one of my best fishing memories is on the rocks, fishing for wrasse in cornwall.
You do not need a fish saltwater license in Cornwall as far as I remember, but you do need some local knowledge ...
I can get you in touch Cornish anglers if you like. They will be glad to help.
Hope this helps.
Best regards
Joe
